I used to work in retail management—hello, food courts and shoplifters—but I traded all that for something a whole lot more creative.

Now, I get to tell love stories for a living, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I’ve been full-time since 2022, and I have photographed over 150 weddings, along with a whole lot of babies, seniors, and sweet families.

I’m obsessed with color (if you hadn't noticed yet lol). If it looks like Lisa Frank designed it, I probably own it.
Dog mom life is real. Piper, Remy and Giselle are my kids, and yes, we all have our own matching hoodies. Oh, and ask me about my tattoo!
I still love boy bands. ’90s/'00s pop will always have my heart. In fact, I'm spending my birthday this year at a Backstreet Boys concert in Vegas! Don’t be surprised if I’m singing along to 'Bye Bye Bye' while shooting your reception.
I love my job. I’ll cry during your vows, make strange noises when I get "THE" shot, and make your experience as fun as hanging out with a friend!

I’m the pinkish/purple haired gal behind the camera at Michelle Jahns Photography, where I capture weddings, babies, boudoir, and everything in between. I’m based in the St. Louis area, but always down to travel wherever your love story takes us!
